My name is Chris Rogoski...I'm a 3D Graphics Artist and Freelance Web Designer. My goal is to work for a professional game developer as an environment or texture artist. I was born and raised on the harsh and unforgiving Canadian prairies. I've lived in BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. Currently I reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I've taken 3 years of college to broaden my skill sets in media development, and specifically 3D. I'm a graduate of two courses from Winnipeg's Red River College (RRC), the Digital Multimedia Technologies (DMT) diploma course and the 3D Computer Graphics (3DCG) post-graduate diploma course. I've developed a strong foundation in modeling, sculpting, texturing, animation, lighting, rendering and everything in between. Most of my career in game development has been involved in the game mod community. Mainly with the Unreal technology. My biggest contributions is to the SAS: Into the Lion's Den mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 (under the alias 'Lone Predator') where I was the project's lead texture artist and concept artist. I've also been lucky enough to work several contract jobs in the game development field and government. I've been an contributor to Epic Games' Make Something Unreal Contest (MSUC) and had 3 award winning entries to date. I'm also a member of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) - Winnipeg Chapter, New Media Manitoba (NMM) and the CG Society. You can also view my Resume here if your interested... |
